About the Journal
"Sabia Revista Científica", is an academic and scientific publication of open access and annual periodicity whose purpose is based on the dissemination, appropriation and circulation of knowledge of the Social Sciences at national and international level, also enables the scientific production of articles of scientific and technological research, review articles, reflection articles, book reviews, interviews of notoriety in the Social Sciences and Humanities.
The management, approval and publication of works in Sabia Revista Científica have no cost. It is completely free for authors, readers and the general public.
"Sabia Revista Científica", is committed to the dissemination of scientific knowledge related to studies of ethnic groups, urban studies, local economies of the country, agronomic-agricultural-aquaculture production practices, Latin America, the Caribbean and other contexts of the globe for visibility of human diversity, its worldview and its relationship with the environment. Its name responds to the historical, economic, social and cultural accumulation of the Colombian Pacific region. In this sense, Sabia is an expression of the sap concentrated in the megabiodiversity of the region and its communities, projected to the world.
