How does Judaism affect Israel’s economic growth

Abstract

The work seeks to show how over the years, Jewish society, despite the circumstances has achieved important goals in economic matters. Although the State of Israel can be considered one, relatively modern, the advances it has made in terms of development and competitiveness in the world are admirable. The article takes a historical and religious perspective to begin to outline the patterns of behavior that will lead to the magnificent development and prosperity that has had the Jewish society and therefore, Israel. They take data from sacred writings, essays, news, books, even many criticisms that in part have been of great importance to understand how significant the so-called “Jewish question” has been. The Jewish society must be conceived as a diasporic movement, they were without territorial delimitation for a little more than 2000 years, and although here we will not talk about the current conflicts that they maintain with their neighboring countries, if it stands out as a justification of the countries that received them, to feel a mistrust towards them for their unwillingness to engage in city behavior. The same habit of hermeticism that caused them so much suffering, also sought the foundation of the techniques that developed their economic power, the rationalization of the sacred writings (Talmud) is a clear example of the activism exercised by this culture in the matters that dictate its procedure . In the end we will find how, directly or indirectly, the Jewish religion has shown not only to be useful in the economic future but much more efficient than the others.
