The spotty pargy Lutjannus guttatus is an important “íctico” resource in the Pacific Colombian; considering the need to advance in its technological aquatic offer, considered to evaluate the growth of juvenile of pargy to 3 thickness of sowing (30, 40 and 50 ind/m), cultivated in plastic circular tanks for 103 days at the Station Marina Bahía Málaga of Buenaventura. Four hundred thirty two juvenile ones of 18-20 g of weight were distributed in nine tanks of 1, 2 m ³ of water. Three treatments presented ventilation and a daily spare of water of 100 %. The variables of water quality as: dissolved oxygen temperature and saltness were registered every day. The obtained results were: to thickness of 30/m3 a growth of 0,63 was obtained g/day, a nutritive conversion of 2,90, a final thickness 5,94 kg m‑3, and a final weight of 82,82g; to thickness of 40/m3, they grew to a valuation of 0,61 g/day, the nutritive conversion was 4,23, the final thickness was 6,87 kg m‑3 and the final weight 81,64 g; finally to the thickness of 50/m3, the fish grew to a valuation of 0,61 g/day, they had a nutritive conversion of 4.74, a final thickness of 3,97kg m‑3 and a final weight of 82,08 g; it ends on the kindness of the results and one raises that the spotty porgy can be cultivated in plastic tanks to high thickness of sowing.
