Taking into account the ignorance people have about it was propored to study dung beetles in flood forests from Chocó, proposed to study biological aspects of the guild in jungles Togoromź, Chocó, Colombia (tropical rainforest, sea level-25 m, 24-26°C, 4000 mm per year, floodable soils), there were designed paths in two forest habitats, and traps were installed with human dung for five days; 2034 individuals and 14 species were collected, both habitats shared 12 species (92%); three species belong to the union of the Wheelers, nine to the miners and two endocoprids, 99.5% of the specimens were Canthon aequinoctialis dung and represented 91% of the total catch and made the difference between the two paths; it was concluded that the guild is poorly structured and exhibits low abundance due to the high groundwater levels that affects the nesting process edaficolas Scara- baeinae.
